NetSuite business analysis FAQs

Everything you need to know about NetSuite business analysis

How will you get to understand our business?

We use a multi-pronged approach to really get to understand your business. This includes reviewing any existing systems you have in place, consuming any documentation or specifications you can provide and (most importantly) speaking to key stakeholders who work in your business and for any relevant existing suppliers.

What are the outputs from the process?

The main output from the discovery process is a NetSuite Business Requirements Document which captures everything we've discovered and your requirements. The size of the document will vary depending on the scope of the work to be undertaken; from a couple of pages for a small piece of customisation to dozens for a full implementation.

What types of businesses have you worked with?

We have worked with many types of organisation, but our expertise lies in the retail and software sectors.

Where does discovery take place?

We can hold remote sessions via Teams, Zoom or Google Meet, or have face to face discovery workshops at your offices. It really depends on people's availability. Face to face sessions tend to work best if all the relevant stakeholders can be in the room at the same time. Remote sessions offer a little more flexibility.

What experience do you have?

We have many, many years experience of business analysis for NetSuite and other ERP systems both as stakeholders and suppliers. We have worked with and for businesses of different sizes and in different industries.

What does a NetSuite consultant do?

Our consultants work with your business to understand you requirements and challenges and determine how NetSuite can be tailored to meet the needs of your organisation.
