Our client required a solution that would allow them to continue to offer customised football kit to their fans by automatically substituting individual letters when player name blocks became unavailable, a process previously managed manually by warehouse operatives.
An intelligent, flexible custom solution
We built a custom RESTLET in NetSuite to which a JSON payload is passed that contains website order information including the customisation entered by the customer on the client's website. The RESTLET then used bespoke logic, including item availability, to determine which items to add when creating the NetSuite Sales Order.
